Name: Takehiko Kumar
Nicknames: Tai and sometimes Hiko. He knows how long his name is he'll let people get away with calling him Tai without much of a fuss but if you try and call him Hiko or another name without him giving permission he gets a bit pissy.

Gender: Male
Description: He's a slightly taller than average male and very fit. His muscles show through his clothes when he wears tight-fitting clothes, but they aren't overly large so as to make him look like a muscle-head. In fact you could say that his abs were very well toned. He's the kind of guy that even other guys would fall for easily upon appearance alone.
He has brown hair that frames his face in the front and is then styled into a bit of a point in the back before it falls into a long ponytail that flows all the way down past his butt. Most people find themselves drawn by the length of his hair only to find themselves staring at his sexy, well toned butt. His legs are long and slim but toned at the same time as well. His eyes are then a sharp, crimson red that draws you in as well
Takehiko's clothes are usually very tight-fitting as if he's trying to draw your attention to him though they are very comfortable at the same time. They are usually in greens and blues as well that almost seem to draw attention to the fact that his eyes are such a stunning red colour.

Personality: Takehiko is a pretty calm fellow that doesn't normally get along well with people. He almost always seems cold and calculating and many have called him an 'ice prince' before. He has a glare that has been able to make the bravest of soldiers cower and run in fear if you piss him off enough to get it.
Many people think that because of how he treats people that he would act the same to his pokemon but surprisingly he's quite kind to his pokemon. His pokemon love him and he seems to just draw the affection from them upon first sight. He always worries about pushing his pokemon too hard and will always help a pokemon in need. In fact, he will help a person in need as well should he find them without a moment's hesitation even if he's cold about it.
Not many people would be able to guess it by looking at him but he's really just lonely. He's been hurt many times in the past before and so has put on that cold mask to keep himself from being hurt again. It was always pokemon in the past that helped him recover from the hurt when he was dumped or wounded. The main one being a Shiny Pachirisu that joined him later as his first pokemon. He also likes to ride Ponytas and Rapidashs when he gets the chance.
History: As was stated in his personality, Takehiko has been hurt many times before. He's afraid of getting hurt again. His parents weren't the best at raising him and even as a small boy he was abused and hurt when his parents came home drunk. He always seemed to be the way they released their tension or stress when he was home. If he wasn't home by a certain time he was always punished when he arrived home unless he was careful about making sure that they were fast asleep before he came home. They usually forgot by the morning after all since they were almost always drunk at nights.
Takehiko however didn't mind this too much. He was still happy by the age of 10 when his parents had been doing this for 3 years. This was because he had been lucky enough to find someone whom he had fallen for. She was beautiful and a cheerleader to boot. She had always planned to be a pokemon ranger and Takehiko was happy for her, even encouraging her. He was sure that she'd make it without any problem. When he was 13 however it started to take a turn for the worst.
Takehiko was sure he'd found someone that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with and was planning on asking her to marry him upon the two of them turning 18. She had different plans. Upon finally getting accepted to be a pokemon ranger her first plan of action was to tie up any loose ends. She went to Takehiko and broke his heart. She explained to him that all these years she'd never actually loved him.. she'd just been using him because of his appearance to stay popular in the area. Now that she was a ranger in training however she didn't need him and so dumped him on the spot.
Takehiko was heart broken at this, feeling his entire world shatter around him. He ran to the forest, tears in his eyes as he cried out his heart and soul. It was then that the one good thing happened. A pachirisu came out of the bushes, her pinkish-purple coloured fur on the top of her head shimmering as she tilted it. She came right up to him and put a paw on his arm where he was hiding his head. Takehiko jumped in surprise, looking over at the shiny pachirisu in front of him. The pachirisu, which he found out was named Sarina or Sari for short, grinned at him before she began chasing her tail a bit, trying to make him smile.
Takehiko couldn't help but laugh a bit at her antics before he watched in surprise as he crawled into his lap to push his arms apart. She then grabbed one of the pokeballs that he always had with him in case he found just that perfect friend. She pushed the button and caught herself. Takehiko blinked as he watched the pokeball capture her before he picked it up. He let her out, only to have her start twirling around again and push her head into his chest.
Tai grinned at this, feeling his heart warm up before he brought her home carefully. He packed up his things and left again before his parents got home and without telling a soul of what he was doing. He was going to travel with Sari by his side. He knew his parents would have disapproved and tried to stop him, which is why he left as quickly as he did. He's been on the road ever since, training with Sari.

Takehiko sighed as he walked along. The two of them had just come across yet another trainer that had gawked at Sarina. He got it everywhere he went now, especially since she was always out of her pokeball. Sari looked up at him almost curiously. "Pachi?" She cooed gently, making the boy smile.
Sari grinned as she jumped up and climbed onto his shoulder. Tai marvelled at how she could always make him feel better. "Well Sari... looks like you're doing a great job of drawing attention again.. it's why I'm sure we'll be the best coordinator pair out there someday." "Pachi Pachi!!" She cried out happily in agreement before Tai sat down on a fair sized bolder at the side of a stream. Sari hopped down then, gazing into the water and grinning. She had always been attracted to water like this.. and it was through this that Tai had found out she knew surf.
Tai chuckled as she found a piece of bark and began to play with it on the water before falling in. She soon surfaced however, laughing happily before she shook her fur off. Sari ran back to Tai and cuddled up to him, Tai sighing as he relaxed in the warm sun. He didn't think anything could ruin this moment right now.
