Description: Gunther is a member of the elite trainer group "Royal Eleven", similar to the Elite Four. He commonly wears a black outfit adorned with various black fur. He is known as the "Steel Knight" while at work. He carries a sword at his side, and while he does fence, the sword is more of a cosume piece than anything. He wears glasses for long distance visuals, has black hair which looks scruffy and sort of ridiculous at times, and icy blue eyes.
Personality: Gunther will remain calm under almost any situation, and his pokemon obey him without question and can act without his guidance based on his teachings. He's technically a steel-type trainer, although he usually carries a Gallade and Gardevoir with him (his starters). He prides loyalty and honor among all else, and has the manner of a distinguished gentleman. He can't stand trainers who can't control their Pokemon.
History: Gunther was born in Castellia City in the Unova region. For his 17th birthday he recieved a pair of Ralts as starters, and he travelled about the 5 regions like many trainers had before him. Through this, he acquired a fondness for the Steel type. At age 23, he met his future wife, Yumiko, age 22, who was a member of the just-forming Royal Eleven as the Grass type specialist. They married a year later, and Gunther joined as the 7th member, adopting the title Gunther, Knight of Steel.
Now, at age 28, he took a yearlong leave of absence from his job at the Royal Eleven to travel to a new region recently discovered, the Twilight region. Though he had no intention of capturing any new Pokemon, any new realm warrented his interest. His wife remains at home, although they communicate occasionally via telephone.

On a golden chain hidden beneath his black fur lined jacket rests two Pokeballs, each one containing one of his starters.
